Over the past 18 years, Jupiter has produced hit prime-time series and specials for A&E, Discovery, History, Investigation Discovery, Oxygen, TLC, TruTV, TV One, Fuse, and Animal Planet. Members of Jupiter’s creative team have also produced kid’s programming for Nickelodeon, daytime how-to shows for HGTV, a music-based series for TNN and even a sports entertainment property for CBS Cable – the re-launch of the American classic, Roller Derby.
Stephen Land is among America’s most prolific television creator/producers. Over the past two decades Land has created, produced and/or executive produced hit shows for A&E, Discovery, History, HGTV, Nickelodeon, TLC, Disney, Oxygen and Animal Planet as well as a host of other major networks. Dividing his time between the company’s New York and Tennessee offices, he is in daily contact with networks, agents and producers throughout the nation to find, nurture and develop new ideas and talent. Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam recently appointed Land to the Tennessee Film, Entertainment and Music Commission.
Based in Jupiter’s New York office, Allison leads the charge in expanding Jupiter’s content portfolio into new genres and distribution platforms. Previously, Wallach represented Jupiter among other successful production companies as an Agent in UTA’s alternative television department, where she helped grow, develop and expand the agency’s international, talent and cable television businesses. Before UTA, Wallach oversaw scripted and unscripted series for the BBC and Lifetime Television. Her vast and diversified experience in the industry accompanied by her strong relationships within the television landscape are an invaluable asset that will propel Jupiter into new ventures – setting the stage for another 18 years of rapid growth and hit series.
A veteran of 16 years, Twilley oversees Jupiter’s legal, financial and production operations. His years as a producer and his business acumen allow him to balance the creative needs of production with the scheduling and budgetary demands of networks. His eye for talent makes him key to building and managing Jupiter’s young and dynamic staff.
Deborah Allen is the Vice President of Programming for Jupiter Entertainment. She plays a senior role in the development and production of nonfiction series and specials. Over the past 17 years, she has produced prime-time shows for A&E, Court TV, Investigation Discovery, History Channel, National Geographic, Biography, Oxygen and Fuse. In the true crime genre, she has served as Show Runner for many of Jupiter’s critically-acclaimed shows including City Confidential and Snapped, and has produced more than 450 hours of true crime programming.
Todd is an Executive Producer and VP of Programming for Jupiter. In this capacity he has played a key role in the creation, production, and continued success of several highly-acclaimed factual series. Todd has worked in all factual genres, from competition to long-form documentary. He has written, directed, or helped oversee such long-running hits as City Confidential, Human Weapon, Gangland, Modern Marvels, Snapped, I Want That! and Tools of the Trade. Currently, Todd oversees Homicide Hunter, the top-rated series for Investigation Discovery, and Fatal Attraction, the top-rated factual series for TV One.
In his role Matt oversees series produced out of Jupiter’s New York office. While with Jupiter Matt has developed, produced, directed, or managed hit series including Modern Marvels, Vanished, Sons of Guns for Discovery, and most recently Welcome to Myrtle Manor for TLC. Before joining Jupiter in 2010, Matt worked with various production companies producing programming for Food Network, Animal Planet, DIY, and HGTV.
Based in the New York office, Harrison oversees Jupiter’s fast growing development department. He has successfully developed and sold hit series for multiple networks such as TV One, Food Network, Discovery ID, and FYI. He also maintains strong relationships with influential agents, network executives, and producers. His business background, paired with his drive and passion for quality content, has led to numerous strategic partnerships and the sale of an original format into the UK. Achievements like this landed Harrison on Cablefax’s “Overachievers Under 30” list in 2014, which recognizes the movers and shakers on both the traditional side of cable as well as new digital platforms.
As Jupiter’s Director of Finance, Julie manages the accounting, human resources and payroll teams. She also oversees Jupiter’s financial reporting and analysis. With more than 20 years experience as a CPA in both the public and private sectors, Julie is adept at administering multiple departments, while simultaneously keeping an eye out for new ways Jupiter can increase it’s efficiency and productivity.
